Insurance Amount Increased for Treatment in Private Hospitals 2022
As per the official site of Sarbat Health Agency, the government has increased the amount of treatment. Initially, the medical insurance cover was 1800 Rupees which at most extended up to 4500 INR.
This announcement was made in May 2021 by the former Health Minister of Punjab. So, the beneficiaries can get benefits in the range of 18000 rupees. The central and state government will sponsor the whole scheme proportionally.
