The government has assigned various departments to classify different types of Mahadbt scholarships, so they can cover every financially disable student who needs their help.

Eligibility criteria for Scholarships under Aaple Sarkar MahaDBT Scheme
1. MahaDBT Scholarships by MAFSU Nagpur.
|Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Fee Reimbursement Scheme||The candidate should be a resident of Maharashtra. The student should be either enrolled for a technical non-professional degree or any professional degree. The student should be admitted by CAP. The annual family income should be 8 lakh INR or less. The candidate should not be having for more than two years. The maximum of two members from a family are allowed to take advantage of the Mahadbt scholarship.|
|Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Hostel Maintenance Allowance||The annual income of the family should not exceed 6 lakh INR. The student should be a resident of Maharashtra. The general category students are also eligible. Students should be enrolled in the institute with professional or any other technical course. Maximum two members from one family are allowed to apply for this MahaDBT scholarship. The student must have 50% attendance or more in the preceding semester.|
2. Mahadbt Scholarships by the directorate of Art
|Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Hostel Maintenance Allowance||The applicant should be enrolled in the central admission programme. Both professional and non-professional technical programmes are covered. The family annual income should not exceed 8,00,000 INR. The parent of the student should be registered under Alpabhudarak, labourer, or both. General category students are eligible. The student should be a hosteler or living on rent. Only two members of a family are eligible for the Mahadbt scholarship.|
|Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Fee Reimbursement Scheme||The student should be a permanent resident of Maharashtra. The annual income should not exceed 8 lakh INR. 3. Mahadbt Scholarships by Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri
|Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Fee Reimbursement Scheme||The student should be enrolled in the professional or non-professional and technical course. The student should be a resident of Maharashtra. The annual family income should not exceed 8 lakh INR. The students from open universities are not eligible. 4. MahaDBT Scholarship by Skill development, employment, and entrepreneurship

5. MahaDBT Scholarship by social justice and special assistance department.
|Post-Matric Scholarship for Persons with Disability||A student with a disability is eligible. (40% or above)The student should be studying in a recognized institute in Maharashtra. If the student is doing distance learning and the course fee is non-refundable then he is eligible. The student involved in a full-time job is not eligible. |Rajarshri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaja Merit Scholarship||Only classes 11th and 12th are eligible. Marks in class 10th should be 75% or more. Only Students who belong to the SC category are eligible. Residence in Maharashtra.|
|Maintenance Allowance for Students Studying in Professional Courses||Annual family income should not exceed 250000 INR. The students should be enrolled in professional courses. Hostelers are also eligible. The student should be a scholarship holder of the government of India.|
|Post-Matric Tuition Fee and Examination Fee||The annual income should not exceed 25000 INR. The student must have passed SSC matric examinations or equivalent to that. The student should belong to the SC category or Navo Buddha. The student should be enrolled by CAP. Should be a resident of Maharashtra.|
|Government of India Post-Matric Scholarship||The student should be a resident of Maharashtra. The student should belong to the SC category or Navobaudha category. The family annual income should not exceed 2.5 lakh INR. The student should be a matric pass from SSC or an equivalent organization. Only two professional courses.|
6. MahaDBT Scholarship by the department of tribal development.
|Post-Matric Scholarship||The student should be at least a 10th pass. The student should belong to the ST category. The annual family income should not exceed 250000 INR.|
|Tuition Fee and Examination Fee for Tribal Students||The student should be a resident of Maharashtra state. The annual family should not exceed 2.5 lakh INR. Only ST category students are eligible.|
|Vocational Education Fee Reimbursement||The students who are enrolled for courses like animal husbandry, agriculture, MBA, engineering, pharmacy, etc are eligible. The annual family income should not exceed 2.5 lakh INR. Only ST category students are eligible.|

7. MahaDBT Scholarship by the directorate of higher education.
|Rajarshri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaja Merit Scholarship||The student must not be a part of any other scheme or scholarship. The annual family income should not exceed 8 lakh INR. The students who took admission can apply. The general category students are also eligible. The student should belong to the border states of Maharashtra and Karnataka. The student course must be approved by AICTE or the government. The student should attend all the semesters and exams at college. The student should not have a gap of more than 2 years.|
|Assistance to Meritorious Students Scholarship – Junior Level A||Only classes 11th and 12th are eligible for the Mahadbt scholarship. The student has to sanction a letter from DHE. The student studying outside Maharashtra are also eligible.|
|Education Concession to the Children of Ex-Servicemen||The should be a son/daughter/widow/wife of ex-servicemen are eligible. The student should be a domicile of Maharashtra. Students studying outside Maharashtra are not eligible.|
|Eklavya Scholarship||The student must be a domicile of Maharashtra state. The annual income of the family should not exceed 75000 INR. The student should have a graduate degree in Arts, commerce, science, or the law. The student must have scored at least 60% in arts, commerce, or law and 70% in science. Students who are employed part-time or full time are not eligible|
|State Government Open Merit Scholarship||The student must have a score of a minimum of 60% in class 12th exams. Students from Arts, commerce, science, and law are eligible. The student should be a resident of Maharashtra.|
|Scholarship to Meritorious Students Possessing Mathematics/ Physics||The student should be a resident of Maharashtra. The student should have a score of a minimum of 60% in maths and physics. Students not studying in Maharashtra are not eligible.|
|Government Vidyaniketan Scholarship||Only Students who have passed his class 10th from Vidhya Niketan are eligible. The student must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in the 10th exam.|
|State government Daxshina Adhichatra Scholarship||Students studying outside of Maharashtra are not eligible. Graduation completed from a non-agricultural institute.|
|Government Research Adichatra||Students should be studying in Maharashtra. Students who got at least 60% in their post-graduation are eligible. Only post-graduate degree holders are eligible.|
|Education concession to the children of freedom fighter||The son/daughter/wife/widow of a freedom fighter is eligible for the scheme.|
|Jawaharlal Nehru University Scholarship||Undergraduate and postgraduate courses are covered. The student must be studied at JNU.|
|Assistance to Meritorious Students Scholarship – Senior Level||The student resident of Maharashtra studying in any other state is also eligible. The student should be a class 11th or 12th student.|
|Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Vasati Nirvah Bhatta Yojna||The student should not be taking any other benefits from Nirvah Bhatta. The family income should not exceed 8 lakh INR. The student must be a domicile of Maharashtra state. For professional courses, parents should be registered labourers/ Alpabhudrak or both.|
8. Scholarships by Directorate of technical education.
|Rajarshri Chhatrapati Shahu maharaja Shiksha Shulkha Shishyavrutti Yojna||The annual family income should not exceed 8 lakh INR. The student should be a student of the institute. The student should be enrolled in professional or technical courses. The student must be a resident of Maharashtra. The student should not be taking benefits from other schemes. The student must be enrolled by CAP. Minimum 50% attendance in the current semester is a must. No study gap of more than 2 years.|
|Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Vastigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna||The nationality of the applicant should be Indian. The resident of the applicant should be Maharashtra. The student should be admitted by CAP. The student should be enrolled in professional and technical courses. The annual family income should not exceed 8 lakh INR. The student should be a bonafide student of the institute. The students of deemed universities are not eligible. The student must have secured a 50% attendance in the preceding semester. Only two children at maximum from a family are eligible to apply.|
9. Mahadbt Scholarships by VJNT, OBC, and SBC welfare department.
|Post-Matric Scholarship for VJNT Students||The annual income of the family should be 100000 rupees or less. The student should be a domicile of Maharashtra. Only VJNT students are eligible. The students must be enrolled for government-approved courses and admitted by CAP. The current semester attendance should be 75% or more.|
|Tuition Fees and Examination Fees to VJNT Students||The family income should be 800000 or less. Only VJNT category students are eligible for Mahadbt scholarships. The students with technical courses from aided or unaided colleges are eligible. The student enrolled in health science, agricultural sciences, animal husbandry, fishery, etc are eligible.|
|Maintenance allowance to VJNT and SBC Students Studying in Professional Courses and Living in the Hostel Attached to Professional Colleges||The family income should be 1 lakh INR or less. Only VJNT and SBC students are eligible. The student must be a hosteler in professional colleges. The students who are enrolled in professional courses are eligible. Government hostelers are not eligible.|
|Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Merit Scholarship for Students Studying 11th and 12th Standard of VJNT & SBC Category||Only class 11th and 12th in junior colleges. No study gap will be entertained. No family income limit was mentioned. Domicile of Maharashtra. The student must belong to SBC, nomadic tribes, and vimukta jatis.|
|Post-Matric Scholarship to OBC Students||Only OBC category students are eligible. The student should secure 75% attendance in the same year applying for the scheme. The student must be a domicile of Maharashtra. The student must be admitted by a CPA. Only professional courses are covered in this Mahadbt scholarship.|
|Post-Matric Scholarship to SBC Students||The student should belong to the SBC category. The annual family income of the student should not exceed 100000 INR. The student must be a domicile of Maharashtra.|
|Tuition Fees and Examination Fees to OBC Students||The student must be from the OBC category in Maharashtra. The students pursuing technical educational courses from private or government institutes. The student enrolled in health science, agricultural sciences, animal husbandry, fishery, etc are eligible.|

10. MahaDBT Scholarships by the school education and sports department.
|Open Merit Scholarship in Junior College||Only the students who have secured a minimum of 60% marks in SSC examinations are eligible. Class 11th and 12th students are eligible.|
|Merit Scholarship for Economically Backward Class Students||Minimum 50% marks are required in the SSC examination for eligibility. The student should be economically weak and backward.|
11. Mahadbt Scholarships by the Directorate of medical education and research.
|Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Fee Reimbursement Scheme||Annual family income should be less or equal to 800000 rupees. Only professional courses like MBBS are considered.|
|Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Hostel Maintenance Allowance||The student must have hostels in Mumbai, Nagpur, or Aurangabad. The annual family income should not exceed 8 lakh INR. The student must be enrolled in professional courses such as BDS, MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, and others. The colleges should be of aided category. The parents of the student should be labourers registered.|
12. MahaDBT Scholarships by Minority development department.
|State Minority Scholarship Part II||The annual family income should not exceed 800000 rupees. The student must be a resident of Maharashtra. Only students who are studying in Maharashtra are eligible.UG and PG from Arts/commerce/law/science/educational courses are covered under the scheme.|
|Scholarships For Students of Minority Communities Pursuing Higher and Professional Courses.||The family annual income in total should not be more than 800000 rupees. The student should be a bonafide student of the institute. The student must be enrolled in UG/PG/diploma courses. The students should have cleared SSC examinations in one attempt. The applicant must be a resident of Maharashtra.|
